Huge numbers of caregivers are needed, but with traditional daughters in law now disappearing into the workforce, in 2000 the Japanese government created a universal long burberry term care program to help families pay for hired caregivers. An ability to make intelligent judgements that encompass human and social values, as well as technical values, is inherent in that role. Such areas form an essential complement to technical studies in the education of an engineer.
