Like its much discussed cousin, marijuana, hemp is emerging from the shadows of illegality and being celebrated this weekend at the inaugural Hemp Meeting Boulder County 2014. Saturday at Boulder Public Library's George Reynolds Branch, will feature hemp farmers, hemp vendors, hemp displays and a visit from Boulder County burberry District Attorney Stan Garnett, who last year served on the rule drafting Industrial Hemp Regulatory Committee.
